Watering Holes for SPUGsters

Since we've been meeting at the Safeco tower, we've imbibed at the Big Rock brewpub, which was always too noisy, and then an Irish bar, which was only sufficiently quiet during opening week.

This is a page for discussing a new drinking hole for pre/post-meeting rendezvous of SPUGsters. It needs to be within walking distance of our meeting place, quiet enough for human conversation.

(and preferably not so smoky as to induce respiratory distress in attendees.) - not an issue :)

There's a Café under the Burke museum on the UW campus (south of 45th and 12th) that's beautiful and quiet. Not a lot of alcohol (if any), though. But that seems an okay thing to most Perl geeks I know.
